Sum 41's final Dallas-area concert on September 30, 2024, at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory was a powerful night of nostalgia and emotion. As part of their "Heaven x Hell" farewell tour, the event was a heartfelt goodbye to Texas, drawing fans from across the region for a memorable send-off.

The evening started with an intense performance by Many Eyes, the band led by Keith Buckley (formerly of Every Time I Die). They delivered a fast-paced, high-energy set, featuring six tracks from their debut album The Light, immediately grabbing the crowd's attention.

Ska-punk heroes The Interrupters followed, lighting up the stage with their infectious energy and engaging stage presence. Their tight musicianship kept the audience moving, with upbeat tracks that had everyone dancing. A special moment came when they brought a young fan on stage to dance alongside them, adding to the feel-good vibe of the night.

When Sum 41 took the stage, the crowd was more than ready, though some initial technical issues threatened to derail the start. However, Deryck Whibley and the band quickly bounced back with pyro and confetti at every turn. The Band played a 27 song set spanning their whole career delivering a concert packed with fan favorites like "Fat Lip," "In Too Deep," and "Still Waiting." The night was filled with sing-alongs, but the emotional peak came during their final songs,"So Long Goodbye," and a NOFX cover of “Linoleum” offering a reflective close to the band's career. It was a bittersweet yet fitting farewell for the pop-punk legends, marking the end of an era for Texas fans.
