A bittersweet night fell upon The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Tx last September 06, 2025 as they hosted the last day of Simple Plan‘s Bigger Than You Think Tour. This was the first US headlining tour in years for Simple Plan as they celebrated 25 years of being a band. The tour featured Bowling For Soup, 3OH!3, and LØLØ who all had incredible chemistry. The night was very special and intimate being the very last day of the tour. There were cameos in every set which made each performance more fun and personal. You could tell the touring bands had an undeniable and genuine connection. Fans were all on their feet as they supported every performance by dancing and singing along.

The Canadian singer-songwriter LØLØ opened the night and immediately set the pace to gather a crowd of early ongoers. She is a pop-punk rockstar despite her young career. One studio album and three EPs with multiple singles including “The Devil Wears Converse” , which was included in her set list, she is a breath of fresh air in the genre and I’ve become an instant fan. I’m looking forward to new releases and so should you.

You know when you hear a song and wonder if they’ll be as fun and energetic to experience live? That’s what I felt when I head 3OH!3 for the first time back when they released “DONTTRUSTME”. Formed in 2004, they are electropop/electrorock personified and pioneers of crunkcore. Seeing them live for the first time, they definitely matched that energy and did not disappoint. They are a lively, upbeat, and highly dynamic duo with non-stop antics and a very pleasant vibe.

Hometown heroes, the Texas pop-punk OGs Bowling For Soup were welcomed heavily by the crowd. Word for word, the crowd sang along to all the hits they played. Lighters and flashlights waved in the air, beers raised and toasts all around, they know how to connect to their Texas fans. And in true Bowling For Soup fashion, their on-stage comedic light-hearted presence never fails to make you laugh and smile. They are and will always be a fun group to watch.

Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band formed in Montreal, Quebec, in 1999. I heard of them back when they released “No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls” in 2002. Their music instantly resonated with me and I credit them for making me a true fan to the pop-punk genre. 25 yrs of being a band and they performed ever so energetic that it’s hard to believe they have been around for so long. Being able to listen to all their favorite hits live was surreal. I can only hope the photo gallery can make the vieweres feel even slightly the energy and emotions felt. Thank you, Simple Plan, for an incredible and unforgettable night.
