AFI rocked out in South Side Ballroom last Tuesday night to deliver a spectacular show. The Fall Tour 2025 started at the end of August in Madison, WI and finally made it’s way to Dallas, Tx. AFI has been around since the 90’s and has left imprints on every show they’ve appeared on.
The tour is opened by TR/ST, the electronic synth-pop project of Robert Alfons. Joined by drummer Lia Braswell, the duo is welcomed warmly by the Dallas early on-goers. The musical project has 5 studio albums plus an EP out. I met a few of their fanbase who came to the show solely for them and mentioned to them I have not heard of the group or their songs. I was told that I would be in for a pleasant surprise. They were right.

AFI is a punk group formed since 1991 known for their electric and dynamic performances left it all out on stage showing time is not slowing them down. Davey Havok is legendary and knows how to command a room with his stage presence. The 17 song setlist takes you through the timeline of the bands musical journey. 12 studio albums including their latest release “Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…” which dropped early October 2025. AFI is a vibe live. I can’t put into words how fun they are to experience.
