The “Klash of the Titans” tour made its way through New Jersey last week.

Testament and Kreator (with support by Possesed) stopped by The Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ on October 10th. The tour is nearing its completion, but they are still giving their all night after night. I unfortunately was unable to make it in time to see Possessed kick off the show, but everyone there was all amped up for the next band by the time they finished.

Kreator went on next, starting off with an intro of “Run to the Hills” by Iron Maiden playing before the curtain dropped and jumping right into “Hate Über Alles”. Their energy just kept on going through the entirety of their set. Calling for circle pits and walls of death, and overall egging on the crowd to continue their participation. Ending on “Pleasure to Kill” the crowd was not ready for the night to be over.

With everyone ready to go and the Testament curtain up and soundcheck over, “Fight For Your Right” by the Beastie Boys began blaring with the crowd singing along. Testament dove into and played through (and air guitared through) a 14-song set list beginning with “Eerie Inhabitants” and ending with “Into The Pit”.

Overall, the show was intense and if you still haven’t caught them yet (and have the opportunity to) on one of the remaining tour dates, make sure you don’t miss out.
