One of the most anticipated tours this season finally came upon us at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Tx last October 04, 2025. Lorna Shore returns with an incredibly powerful line-up of a tour. The deathcore sensations are joined by The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow Of Intent, and Peeling Flesh. This was such an unforgettable experience. All these bands hit different live. The heaviness, the intensity, the screams, the energy that a death metal show brings is a surreal experience.
Peeling Flesh is a young slam death metal band formed 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. Despite their age, they have 11 EPs and 1 studio album out already. They did a great job engaging the crowd and getting the show started. Their music is a great blend of samples and slam that just does the job right. I am certain they gained more fans to their increasing popularity that night.
Shadow Of Intent needs no introduction from the deathcore fan base. This is my second show of theirs and it’s safe to say Texas loves this band. Bryce Butler is of course a hometown hero. A huge congratulations to frontman Ben Deurr who had to return home for the birth of his 3rd child. Despite sitting out the tour, Andrew Monias stepped in and showed out. They are beautifully chaotic live. They always live up to their reputation.
The Black Dahlia Murder are legends in the death metal scene. 11 studio albums with Servitude recently released last year and multiple chart topping singles, they have been tried and tested. Dallas showed them plenty of love. The crowd went wild with non-stop crowd surfing. This band is eternal and have many more years ahead of them.
Lorna Shore has been around the block since 2009. The band from New Jersey is charismatic and ever popular with 5 studio albums and a sizable fanbase that came out that night to warmly receive them. They are raw energy and their performance is definitely one for the books. I am partially biased as they are my favorite band from the genre but what more can I say? You just need to experience them live. You need to watch a show. You will be filled with an immense surge of emotion that will take over you. This is Lorna Shore. Enjoy the gallery below.
