A sold out Dickies Arena hosted The Neighbourhood’s Wourld Tour. The state-of-the-art venue was overflowing with fans of the alternative/indie rock phenoms as they came off their 4 year hiatus last Tuesday night. The California formed band was founded 2011 and has released 5 studio albums, 10 EPs, and multiple chart topping hits like “Sweater Weather, “Reflections”, “Softcore”, and “Daddy Issues”. After announcing their hiatus in 2022, they released their latest album late 2025 (((((ultraSOUND)))))) and shortly announced their Wourld Tour. Their latest album showed how the band continued to grow musically and stylistically while proving the evolution of the genre. “OMG”, “Lovebomb”, and “Private” are already amassing fans due to their new sound that has still thematically stayed within their roots.
As the arena darkens to mark the beginning their set, the fans are deafening and cheering in anticipation. Jesse Rutherford’s voice is soothing and captivating. They open with “Hula Girl” and continue to play their hits throughout the night. Ending with “Lovebomb”, “Sweater Weather”, and “Softcore” leaves the fans in a singing along to every word as the show ends with everyone swallowed in a trance. Despite the size of the arena, the performance feels very intimate. Multiple fans I spoke with mentioned waiting to see the band for as long 7 years and they did not leave wanting. They were worth the wait.Â
The Tour will continue to run until the end of 2026, making stops in Europe but returning to the USA for it’s final leg. You wont want to miss this.
